Everything you need to know before buying your building.
How does it work?
The town has 2219 buildings. Spin the town, zoom, click a free building (+ sign), pick the emoji that will live on its rooftop, a name and a link, then pay once. Your emoji shows up right away for every visitor.
How much is a building?
The price depends on the height: 2–3 floors €9, 4–5 floors €19, 6–8 floors €49, and €149 for the towers (the domed tower and the rocket). One-time payment, no subscription.
Will the town grow?
Yes. As buildings fill up, new districts are attached to the town: a new town, or a district with its own attraction (funfair, zoo, castle, space base…) surrounded by houses for sale. Buildings already bought never move.
How long is the building mine?
For good, as long as the service runs: there is no subscription and no auction. Nobody can take it from you.
Can I change the emoji later?
Yes, for free and as often as you like: click your building in the town, or use “My buildings”. The name and link can be changed too.
How do I sign in on another device?
Open “My buildings” and enter the e-mail used for the purchase: you get a sign-in link, no password needed.
What is the emoji hunt?
8 rare emojis are hidden in the town (on a cloud, a car, a resident’s head…). Find them all to get 20% off one building, once per visitor and per e-mail. Strolling residents give hints: click them.
Is payment secure?
Payments go through Stripe Checkout. EmojiCity never sees your card number. You get a receipt from Stripe and a confirmation e-mail.
What if two people buy the same building?
During payment, the building is held for 30 minutes for the first person. If two payments still arrive at the same moment, the second one is fully refunded.
When do I get a refund?
The building is delivered on payment, so there is no withdrawal right. We give a full refund for duplicate payments, simultaneous purchase conflicts and technical errors on our side. A building hidden for breaking the rules is not refunded.
What emojis and links are allowed?
Almost every emoji, except a few offensive ones. Links to adult content, gambling, scams, pirated software, weapons, drugs, hate or anything illegal are refused and hidden.
Does my link help my SEO?
Links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow", as search engines require. The value is visibility and the fun of having your emoji in the town.
